Life of a Side Character - Lirien Everlight

In a land of rolling hills and forests, there lived a Moon Priestess named Lirien. She was revered throughout the land for her wisdom and her ability to communicate with the moon and stars above.
Lirien was born under a rare alignment of the stars, and from a young age, she showed a remarkable affinity for the magic of the heavens. Her parents recognized her gifts and sent her to study under the tutelage of the Moon Priestess who lived in the nearby temple.
Under the Moon Priestess's guidance, Lirien learned the secrets of the stars and the phases of the moon. She honed her powers until she could channel the moon's energy and use it to heal the sick and wounded. Her abilities were so great that many began to believe she was a living embodiment of the moon itself.
As she grew older, Lirien took on the mantle of Moon Priestess, becoming the guardian of the land and the protector of its people. She used her powers to bring balance to the world, using the light of the moon to dispel the darkness and bring hope to those who were lost.
But even as she fought to protect her people, Lirien faced many challenges. Dark forces sought to undermine her power, strip her of her abilities, and destroy the temple she had sworn to protect. Lirien fought back with all her might, channeling the moon's energy to defeat her enemies and protect her home, but as a result of her efforts, her magic backfired and cursed her, reversing her physical body and remaining eternally child-like for the rest of her life.
As the years went by, Lirien became a legend, her name spoken in reverence by all who knew of her. She continued to protect her people, even as the world around her changed. And though she knew that her time on this earth would one day come to an end, she remained steadfast in her duty, a beacon of hope in a world that was often dark and uncertain.
